Mine and Mine alone

The next morning…

Chahat woke up unusually early.

And why wouldn't she?

She was excited.

Very excited.

After quickly freshening up, she stepped out of the bathroom.

Today, she had chosen to wear a pink chikankari suit. Since she usually preferred western outfits, this was quite a change. But now that she had decided to give her marriage a second chance, she wanted to look like a newlywed bride.

With only a touch of lip balm on her lips, she looked breathtakingly beautiful.

Satisfied with her appearance, she headed downstairs.

As soon as she reached the dining room, she found Kabir sitting at the breakfast table, checking something on his phone.

The moment she saw him, a smile bloomed on her face.

Without a second thought, she ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"Good morning, Hubby!"

Kabir, who had been completely unprepared for this attack, was stunned.

Especially after hearing the word Hubby.

But soon, his instincts took over.

Wrapping his arms around her slender waist, he pulled her even closer and replied softly,

"Good morning, Wifey."

Hearing that single word from his lips sent a pleasant shiver through Chahat's body, and she suddenly felt shy.

Pulling away slightly, she looked at him.

Today, Kabir was dressed in a black three-piece suit.

And he looked devastatingly handsome.

For a moment, Chahat forgot to breathe.

There was no denying it.

Kabir Rathore was an exceptionally handsome man.

Looking at him, a thought suddenly crossed her mind.

Chahat, you really were the biggest fool.

You had a man like this in front of you, and you ran after that mole rat Rohan.

Forget handsome—this man is so attractive that anyone who sees him would be unable to look away.

Then another thought hit her.

He's so handsome…

There must be countless girls crazy about him.

His female employees probably have crushes on him too.

And who knows how many women find excuses just to be around him…

The more she thought about it, the more jealous she became.

Just imagining other women admiring her husband made her blood boil.

Her thoughts weren't wrong either.

Kabir Rathore truly had countless admirers.

From actresses to models, many women tried to catch his attention.

But none of them mattered.

Because the only woman occupying Kabir Rathore's heart and mind…

Was his beloved wife.

Unfortunately, nobody had informed Chahat of that.

---

Consumed by jealousy, she moved closer and climbed directly onto Kabir's lap.

Kabir, who had been quietly admiring her all this time, came back to his senses.

His hands naturally wrapped around her waist possessively.

Raising an eyebrow, he silently asked what she was doing.

Chahat ignored his questioning gaze.

Instead, she narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

"Why are you so dressed up for the office?"

"Who are you trying to impress?"

"Don't tell me you're deliberately looking this handsome because you want girls to be attracted to you."

Kabir froze.

Then a dangerous smile slowly appeared on his face.

Was his wife… jealous?

But Chahat wasn't finished.

"Kabir, let me make one thing very clear."

"You belong to me."

"And if another woman even dares to look at you, I won't spare either her or you."

"The right to look at you, touch you, and love you belongs only to me."

"And if anyone ever tries to steal that right from me…"

Her beautiful eyes turned fierce.

"I'll introduce them to the real Chahat Kabir Rathore."

"So, for your own good, stay away from all those women."

"Otherwise, what I'll do next… you might not like."

In her jealousy, she had forgotten herself completely.

She didn't even realize what she had just confessed.

But Kabir…

Kabir was enjoying every second of it.

Wasn't this what he had always dreamed of?

For Chahat to talk to him openly.

To share everything with him.

Her happiness.

Her sadness.

Her love.

And today…

His dream was finally coming true.

Tightening his hold around her waist, Kabir looked deeply into her eyes.

"There may be countless women around me…"

"But I only love one."

"And that's you, Wifey."

"Besides you, no woman has ever entered this Kabir Rathore's heart."

"And no woman ever will."

His voice turned softer.

"I've told you before…"

"And I'll say it again."

"Kabir Rathore belongs only to Chahat Rathore."

"And Chahat Rathore belongs only to Kabir Rathore."

---

Tears instantly gathered in Chahat's eyes.

Without hesitation, she hugged him tightly.

And Kabir embraced her with equal warmth.

At that moment, both of their hearts were filled with peace.

Their eyes held nothing but love for each other.

Today, they had taken another step forward in their relationship.

---

Just then, a servant approached respectfully with her head lowered.

"Sir… Madam… should I serve breakfast?"

Hearing the servant's voice, Chahat snapped out of her daze and hurriedly tried to get off Kabir's lap.

Embarrassment colored her cheeks.

However—

She couldn't move.

Because Kabir had tightened his hold around her waist.

Without releasing her, he calmly instructed,

"Serve breakfast."

The servant quickly arranged the dishes and quietly left.

After all, she had no intention of disturbing her Sir and Madam's precious moment.

Throughout all this, Chahat had hidden her face against Kabir's chest in embarrassment.

Once the servant left, she cautiously peeked out.

Only to find Kabir looking at her lovingly.

Her cheeks turned red instantly.

Unable to handle his gaze, she buried her face back into his chest.

Seeing her adorable behavior, Kabir was completely smitten.

Gently caressing her hair, he said affectionately,

"Come on, eat. You must be hungry."

Chahat nodded obediently and tried to get down again.

But Kabir had no intention of letting her go.

Keeping her seated comfortably on his lap, he began feeding her with his own hands.

Chahat smiled happily and fed him back.

The two of them quietly enjoyed this peaceful moment together.

After all…

What couple wouldn't wish for moments like these?

---

But just as they were enjoying breakfast—

Ring!

Chahat's phone suddenly rang.

She had placed it on the dining table earlier.

Both their gazes shifted toward the screen.

And the moment they saw the caller's name—

Their expressions changed.

Kabir narrowed his eyes dangerously as he stared at the phone.

Meanwhile…

Chahat felt her heart skip a beat.

Seeing Kabir's expression…

She suddenly became nervous.

---

Who was calling Chahat?

Will the distance between them return once again?

Or is another storm about to shake their newly rebuilt relationship?
